Is your baby on a schedule?

I’m trying to get my 3 month on a schedule and I feel like this is the hardest thing to accomplish! What is your bedtime routine? Or I guess routine in general and how did you do it?

Lol I don't even have a routine, I ebf, so she eats when she wants but sometimes she eats every two hours and at night she kind of knows it's time to sleep because she does it on her own lol after she eats usually happens around 8-10 depending when she last took a nap she will eat and then I swaddle her n she will sleep for a good 4 hours but she can sleep from like 9pm to 12pm lol n she wakes up to eat like 4 times (:

I exclusively breastfeed but since I’m back at work he gets bottles during the day and nurses at night. I get him up between 5-6am to eat and change his diaper and put him back down so his dad can get some extra sleep. He usually wakes up between 8-9am.. diaper change eats and is usually back down by 11am. He gets up again usually around 12-1, eats diaper change, and sometimes gets back to sleep and sometimes stays up, I get home at about 3:45pm so if he’s up I usually let him nurse and then he’s out until about 6-7. Wake up, change his diaper, he nurses, we play, bath time, and then I usually start getting him ready for bed at 9. Which means we go in the bedroom with the lights dimmed and wind down, he nurses and he’s typically out by 10-10:30. Now.. this is a good day lol it hardly works out like this every single day. Some days he’s up a lot of the day but still takes his nap after I get home and he nurses. Some days he naps during the day but wants to stay up the whole evening once I’m home. I feel like babies are the boss and do what they want haha

Wake for the day between 7-8am
Feed, change, play
Down for a nap 1-1.5 hours after waking
Morning nap (longest of the day) is usually between 2-3 hours long, and generally ends between 11am-12pm
Eat, change, play, down for a nap 1-1.5 hours after waking
This continues through the day, with usually 3-4 naps in a day, depending on the length of the naps.
Nighttime routine of bath, jammies and rocking with bottle starts around 6:30pm. We breastfeed, but always do a bottle of pumped milk before bed so dad and I can take turns. She is usually in bed asleep between 7-7:30pm. That starts her longest stretch of sleep, which is usually about 7 hours and goes until 2/2:30am. Nurse for about 10 minutes and back to sleep until about 5am. Nurse again, and back to sleep until 7/8am then up again for the day. It doesn’t always go so smooth, but this is out typical day!

We started a routine by setting a consistent wake up time, first (7am). Once we did that for about a week we started with a consistent bedtime (between 7-8pm) and dream feed time (between 10-11pm). Her nap times vary day by day. I always feed her (ebf) as soon as she wakes up and put her down for the next nap as soon as I see that first or second yawn. Sometimes it’ll take her about 10-15 minutes to fall asleep but she’s usually out about 5 minutes after putting her down. Started sleeping through the night about two weeks ago.

I tried for the first two months to get her on a schedule, but it seemed impossible. Finally within the last month it has just fallen into place!! Try not to stress too hard over it and take it one step at a time. For us, we usually start to wind down around 7. I try to just kind of relax with her or let her “talk” to me. If it’s bath night I do that around 8, if there’s no bath I’ll take her to the changing table at around 8:30 and wipe her down instead. After either of those I lotion her up, put her in her jammies, get cozied up with her and feed her. After that she is prepped and ready for bed 😊 She usually sleeps until between 7:30 and 8:30am!

We get up at the same time every day and his last 3 feedings after daycare are at the same time every night to set his nighttime routine. Everything in between is really up to him—a bottle every 3 hours if he’s awake or longer if he takes a long nap. He’s down at 7:30pm and sleeping all night after a dream feed at 9pm.

So things vary sometimes but on a regular basis my son wakes up at 7:30, takes a nap from 10-11, takes another nap from 1-2, and yet another nap from 4-5, and then we start getting ready for bedtime. Our bedtime routine is simply taking a bath and then nursing laying down (yes we co-sleep). Usually he’s asleep by 8. He wakes up to nurse at around 10 (usually when his dad and I come to bed), 1 and 5. He pretty much set the schedule himself tho. He wakes up on his own like clockwork every morning. During the day he eats when he’s hungry which is probably every 3 hours now. I can’t tell you exactly how much tho because I ebf. This schedule just started at 2.5 months though so don’t stress yourself over it! I definitely recommend downloading the baby tracker app though. It lets you keep track of eating, sleeping, medications, even if pumping. Sometimes you’ll notice they’re on more of a schedule than you realize, then you can go from there instead of trying to change what’s starting to feel regular for them. Good luck momma 😊

My daughter is 2&1/2 months old. She wakes up at about 6-7 every morning. Change her, feed her (she eats 6oz every 6 hours) burp her, change her we go make me a pot of coffee and sit with her dad while it brews and he plays fortnite. For some reason that has to happen every morning for her. After a round we make a cup for both me and her dad go and sit with him again till she passes out at about 12. She sleeps 12-2 or 11-1 and we change her, feed her, burp her, and change again. She sits in her bouncer seat or swing and chills watching the outside activities through the slider. She gets changed again and then eats at 6 burped, bathed and chills with us until she falls asleep. She typically during the night wakes herself up at about 11-12 to eat again and will be out till 6-7 the next morning. She is a morning and day person. And needs her night night sleeps. She’ll stay up typically all day and sleep all night in her crib there’s been times she wakes up in her sleep from nightmares (she stopped breathing after she was born and has a form of PTSD from it but if that happens we just hold her and sleep with her

When shes awake I really entertain her and try to get her mind going. she sees a lot and I feel like that's why she can sleep at night. our room is dark and quiet at night.

Mine goes for bedtime around 11-12, wakes up around 9-10 (officially) goes for another nap around 11-12 then again at 3-4 until like 8. She sleeps a lot right now haha.
I will start a routine at 4 month to get her to sleep earlier but our doc said to let her do her thing.  We do bath, feed and cuddle every night with dim lights and limited sound.
