how much milk??

my daughter is 8 months old eating breakfast, lunch and a pudding, tea and a pudding and finger food snacks throughout the day.       BUT how much formula milk should she be having as she has 7oz when she wakes up and 7oz before bed, she doesn't seem to be interested in milk during the day anymore

Hahhaha no idea really?? 🤷🏻‍♀️she’s 18lbs so I know she drinks enough lol. She does lunch and dinner solids and the rest is breastfeeding so I dunno. I nurse her about 6-7x a day.

tea?? I'm confused hun. all food other than formula or breastmilk before 12 months is supposed to be considered "For fun". your baby's nutrition should come from milk throughout the day. I'm still breastfeeding and the rule is generally 1 oz per hour. My baby eats 4 or 5 5oz bottles a day and 1 container of baby food between bottles twice a day.

my 8 month old is eating solids 3 times a day and only drinking milk. just yesterday we have him some super watered down Gatorade for the first time with one of his solid meals. he's drinking 35-40 ounces of milk a day! milk should be the primary source of nutrients for your baby under one year. tea isn't good for them, neither is pudding. That's way too much sugar for their little bodies to process.

I wish I knew. She’s so iffy. She’ll eat 4 oz here , 6 oz here. She was on such a good schedule before introducing solids and snacks. Now that I went out the window I just live on the term fed is best. As long as she seems full and content I’m content. BUT your LO needs way more than two bottles a day. Even with all the extras in between. A baby primary source of nutrition comes from milk. Up until 12 months of age. My pediatrician told me very specifically if she’s eating more solids and very little milk to give her less solids. I noticed LO gets very full off of baby food so I would suggest giving oatmeal in the morning made out of milk instead of baby food. Hope this helps.

My son is 22lb he’s drinking 48 ounces a day, and eating solids breakfast lunch and dinner.

She should be having as much as she would if she weren’t getting solids! If she starts to back down on milk you should cut some solids out! Formula or breastmilk is their primary source of nutrition until 1 year! :)

4 bottles a day and usually 6oz, sometimes he gets 4oz before his night time bottle. He eats solids 2 times a day but mostly just to practice eating and keep him full between bottles. He would eat anything I put in front of him so I really try to limit. it's usually oatmeal with fruit mixed in for his morning (2-3 tablespoons total) and then a veggie mixed with meat (2-3 tablespoons total) for his second dose of solids. o give him a little water ehen he is eating his solids. He only gets watered down prune juice of he is constipated but I always try pureed prunes first which usually does the trick.

My pediatrician said 24-32 ounces of milk is what my 8m old still needs a day. Check with your doc though.
