Maxi dresses?

So maxi dresses are super popular right now and I'd like to try one out... but I'm petite and never have been a fan of long dresses, they just swallow me up and make me look like a little girl playing dress up. 
Do any of you short ladies out there rock a maxi dress? I'm just curious if anyone else feels this way.

Me too. All the cute dresses are 5+ inches too long on me. I end up getting long tube skirts and wearing them like tube dresses up over my boobs, and they still come down to my ankles.  Sometimes I'll get a real cheap one and just cut the end off 🤷

I’m not short but it’s likely you won’t find one the exact length that you need. It’s relatively inexpensive to go to a tailor so they can fix the hem. I have to do that with the bust/waist of my dresses because I’m large hipped but have a small bust and waist.

I’m 5 feet and was 120 lbs before pregnancy and wore them all the time. Now being 8 months pregnant I practically live in them especially since I live in Arizona and it’s 100+ outside
