Hi everyone

I don’t have a car as I work from home, I borrow my parents car if I go out to get my hair done and that’s it. I never usually have free range for the car otherwise and just go out with my mother when I need to. I am due to get my hair done sometime in June and I want to go to my doctors to get the birth control implant the same day.

I am not telling anybody I am getting it and am wondering what to expect? I have a fear that I’ll get it and somehow it’ll make me really unwell or something and I’ll end up having to tell my parents to let me use the car to get it taken out or something. I’m an adult but my parents are very old fashioned and would think low of me if I was to want the implant for birth control, I know it’s my life but I’d just rather them not know. I tell my mother everything minus my sex life so I’m not sure how to swing it if I was to need it out for some reason?

Anyone able to put my mind at ease that it shouldn’t be an issue?
