I was in labor for 5 hours after being induced with pitocin. I went from 4/10 centimeters dilated within 2 hours. I felt a lot of pressure on my bottom and asked nurse to check me. She stated it was doubtful I was ready. My babies head was literally coming out. Dr was paged, he ran in, through on scrub gown, gloves etc... in runs 5 nurses. He says well that’s a baby as he sits on his stool in front of me. He tells me to pull my legs towards me, I push and her head comes out. He tells me to wait for next contraction and there was no waiting. Her shoulders slide out and that was it. Everyone in that room was amazed and I was in aw of this beautiful baby and how easy that was.

Kate Toney 7lbs 13 ounces and 21 inches long. Born Mother’s Day 5/13 at 11pm. We are so in love.
