Iud removal

I got my IUD removed last Thursday, so basically a week ago. On Saturday I started bleeding and today it has been super heavy bleeding and a lot of blood clots (big ones too). I went through a tampon super quick and I wear pads to bed and I just put in a fresh one 30 mins ago and already has more blood than usual. I’m not in much pain, just feel some pressure in my lower abdomen (around my uterus) and some sharp, occasional pains in one of my ovaries.

I posted about this a few days ago and some glow friends said its withdrawal bleeding from the iud removal. I’ve also read a few articles and most say this last for 3-6 days. I’m on day 4.

I’m just worried that maybe this isn’t normal. I have a lot of blood and a lot of blood clots around the size of a half a dollar coin (sometimes bigger!).

Should I return to my doctor, go to the ER, or just not freak out???
