To big??

Is it possible for your kid to be to big?? My kiddo is almost 19 months old and she is in 5t clothes and 32lbs. She looks like she is 2.5 years old!!!! Everyone says “wow she’s huge” and my mom said she is “to big” but should I be concerned???

no shes fine. my girl is 18 mo and 28 lb and in 4t clothes. she has been about this size for about 3 months and has always been a little bigger than other kids her age. they all grow differently.

Is she short? My kid weighs about the same, but is also tall and wears 2t. I think the bigger thing to measure at this age is wether or not theyre healthy... eating healthy, plenty of water or breastmilk, plenty of outdoor time and exercise.

my 19 mo the old is 32 pounds and 33 in inches tall. she wares 4t.

Is your pediatrician concerned? Has your child stuck to their growth curve for weight and height or has the weight outstripped height in growth? These are the main things to look at.

My daughter is 29 pounds and 36+ inches tall. She is currently in 2t(sometimes 3t) clothing. Everyone says how big she is. I would look more so at personality and activity to know if a child is “too big” is she lethargic, sleeping too much, what are her eating habits. 
As Americans we immediately jump to diet and low fat. But pulling full fat foods from a child’s diet is SO bad!! (And from ours) so try to buy full fat yogurts, healthy fruits and veggies and offer them when ever possible. But my kid eats poorly at times. Loves hotdogs! There is a nitrate free brand called Nathan’s. 
I guess what I’m saying is if your child is larger than most, and eats candy and drinks pop it’s an issue, if they are eating normal then no worries at all!!
