Has anyone used the above for contraception? I am reluctant to go on anything hormonal as I have PCOS and have finally got my periods back after a few years. Me and my partner have just started having sex after a long 3 years due to my trust issues and sex being a shitty point for me so I’m eager to be safe as today we were unprotected 3 times 😂😂 not that I’m against having a child but its just not the right time. Any suggestions? Thanks ladies ❤️❤️

Yes I have! If you’re willing to commit to using it consistently then it’s great. I recommend putting it in before things get heated since it does take a little time to learn how to get it positioned properly!

I actually used the diaphragm initially in my marriage. It was okay at first but as we got better at sex (both virgins until marriage), it was more annoying. He could feel it, and buying spermicide was some kind of experience 😂😂 We have since used the fertility awareness method exclusively and abstained from intercourse during my fertile times, and it has worked tremendously well for over a year and a half. My mom also used this and never got pregnant except when she wanted to. Get started by reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility, even if you don’t stick with this method. She has info on this in regards to PCOS also.
