I started bc Monday May 14th and my doctor told me that it becomes effective immediately but everywhere else I read it says it takes at least a week.. I plan on having some fun this weekend with my man but I'm not sure if I should go totally unprotected (condoms, plan b) just yet. Any thoughts? I take microgestion 1.5/30, 28 pills per pack. My period should start May 21st or so
