Pain in right side

Hello I was wondering if anyone could help. Ever since yesterday evening about 6pm I have had a horrible constant stabbing pain on the right side of my hip it’s kind of just above my hip but slightly to the left. It kind of gets better and worse but when I say better it’s still there it’s just not as painful. Any ideas what it could be ? I’ve had a look at ligament stretching but this seems to be a thing that comes and goes this pain is constant. Thanks
