CD5 and playing around

So I am only CD5, but just got my OPKs in the mail and wanted to test them out. I know this is negative, but is it dark for being so early in my cycle? I used digitals before and they never worked right for me, but I am so irregular now compared to before having my 18 month old. I wanted to see if these would work and just wondering. Trying to figure out if I may end up with another early/short cycle.
