Domestic violence

Hello, long story short my ex and I ended up in a domestic dispute and he ended up hitting me completely unprovoked. I’ve pressed charges and we are no longer together. The problem is I’m still in love with him I know it’s for the best for my son and I. But I can’t cope. I’m so depressed I keep playing the night it happened over and over again in my head. I can’t sleep. He’s already moved on and it happened a week ago. The picture is the resulting injury. Any advice on how to handle this depression would be appreciated
