I’m just waiting....

My MIL is SUPER dependent on my husband. She has decided to leave her boyfriend/husband/whatever he is and pawned her rings and everything.

My husband took her out to eat for Mother’s Day and she told him she’s moving out of their mobile home that they share, and needs a place to go. She can only afford $500/mo in rent, doesn’t want to live in an apartment or mobile home park. She asked to move back in with her parents, which they said was fine but they don’t allow indoor dogs. She has a super hyper weenie dog that she treats like a child (she makes him scrambled eggs every morning) and refuses to leave him outside. My husband and I don’t have indoor animals, either, but I’m just waiting for her to ask if she can move in with us.

We’ve found her multiple places to rent, but it’s “not what she wants.” 🙄 our baby is due in August, and I really don’t want my MIL living with us because she’s very dramatic. Plus, our house is only 1300 square feet and I don’t want her dog jumping all over my newborn son. That dog jumps on the furniture, gets right in your face, etc. My husband has told his mother she’s going to have to compromise or find another home for the dog. Luckily, she hasn’t asked about moving in with us but, like I said, I know it’s going to come up. How do I approach this when it does?
