Room sharing your almost two year old and new baby?

My July baby is going to be a big brother in two months.. we plan to keep baby with us for awhile but can’t decide on when to have them share a room... we only have three rooms and one is a guest room that needs to stay a guest room (my parents come every other week to watch my children while we work)... any tips or experiences? Thanks!

I have 2 boys who are 21 months apart and I now have 2 girls 21 months apart  (my littlest girl is 3 weeks old, my 3rd daughter will be 2 in August) anyway with my 2 boys I consulted a professional sleep trainer who recommended moving baby in room when baby is mostly sleeping through the night or is ready for sleep training. He never learned to sleep on his own so he needed sleep training (around 6 months old) and she recommended doing it in his new room with his brother and not in our room with us with him. I thought she was out of her mind because my poor son would be awake by his brother crying but within 2 or 3 nights my older son slept through his waking and crying just like she said. In less than a week he was completely trained and would just wake in the night occasionally to eat when he had a growth spurt but big brother just slept through it. I'm planning on doing the same with my daughters....the earlier you can move them, the better.

I have a rule that when they turn 1 they sleep in the same room with their siblings. No exceptions. Haven't had a problem yet.

I don’t know from experience... but I know my sister in law planned on doing this. But it was hard cause one would wake the other and then both would be crying. So my niece sleeps on the couch cause it’s just easier for them.
