My daughter is 5 years old and starting kindergarten this fall. She is a great child but she is struggling with just giving up when she doesn't succeed the first time. Either that or she will start screaming, getting angry, and crying. She also says "I can't do it" before she even tries. I mean something as simple as trying to color in the lines. She will half ass it, for lack of better words, instead of trying. She gets real dramatic during these times too. I do not know what to do to help her through this. None of the parenting advice I have gotten through family has worked and I really want to find a way to help her I'm just at a loss.
