When have u girls started mixing foods?

My baby will turn 7minths on the 27th at his six month apt he weighed 15exactly, he's an okay eater, doesn't like to to much lol at once. I was wondering when can I start the jar foods with mixed fruits or veggies??? I have only been doing singles like peaches, pears, etc. I would love to spice it up for him alil like strawberry banana or mango pears etc, but I'm afraid it's too soon. Also what does your baby's eating schedule look like? I would love some insight 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Be careful with strawberry it's highly allergic. I started mixing foods when she had tried everything once. Now she eats everything even bits of what we eat.

my boy has been having regular food since 6 months but we started weaning at 4.   his current routine is 6 oz bottle when he wakes up at 6-7ish.  around an hour later he had breakfast, a weetabix or porridge made up with formula and a tablespoon of natural yoghurt sometimes mixed with a bit of a fruit pot. Then around an hour after that a 6oz bottle.  he usually then sleeps for an hour or so, he has lunch at 11:30-12 ish.  normally a combination of finger foods like sandwiches, veg fingers, boiled eggs, cheese sticks, baby crisps, etc and fruit with a fruit yoghurt for pudding (and to bump up calcium) and I add a tablespoon or two of mashed up easy to eat food so I know he's still eating enough as finger food tends to go everywhere.  afternoon he has a 7oz bottle at 2ish and sometimes a snack of a couple crisps, some fruit or a fruit pot.  he sometimes naps in afternoon after this.  Then we have tea at 4-5ish where he has a cooked meal mashed down or jar (7m+).  I cook for him things like fishcake and veg, spaghetti Bolognese, beans and mash etc.. normal sorts of meals - sometimes blended down if they're particularly tough like pieces of meal but it's generally still lumpy, and he has yoghurt or a fruit pot for pudding.  Then in the evenings between 6 and 7pm he has milk, up to 15oz, before bed.and generally sleeps though the might until the following mornings bottle.  sometimes we swap tea and lunch - sometimes he will have 2 cooked meals a day and sometimes he has one finger food based and one cooked.  never 2 finger foods in one day.  generally I go by him though too, if he seems hungry I don't wait to feed him until meal time, he has something, and we have treats every now and again - I'll let him try some.of my food if I'm eating when he isn't or if we go out etc.  sometimes I let him have things like chocolate buttons or a biscuit but only as a treat as a replacement for a snack and he's only on the 25th percentile for weight (and 75th for height so long and skinny) so I'm not too worried about him eating too much at the moment and watching his calories - although it does still seem like a huge amount when I write it all down

I tried to do the mix foods already and he hates them like that lol but yet I can give him peas and sweet potatoes at the same time and mix them my self but if they come mixed already he hates them! Tried meats today and he hated it! Got so grossed out he gaged he was being extra dramatic about it lol

Unless you have a family history of food allergy’s then you can mix foods straight away.

I just started, and am surprised the conditions he’ll eat! He’s also around 7 months and as long as he’s been introduced to a food for awhile, I’ll mix it. Goes way faster!

My LO eats once or twice a day, although fairly picky and only taking a few spoonfuls if she likes it. I think once you have tried the food once without an allergic reaction than you can try the mixed ones

you can already start them. My LO barely eats a teaspoon or so and i was advised to give her bits of what our normal family food is. only without added salt.

My son had Mac n cheese, crab dip, bread, eggs, collard greens, catfish, and hamburger. All today. Sooooo, goes without saying you can do what you want, Mama.
