Opks , LH surge, and ovulation.

So I’ve been tracking this month through my doctor and opks. Yesterday went in and basically everything looked ... as best as it could be. The only issue me and my husband have are his boys are lazy . He has a high count but they don’t stay active for long . Doctor basically told us that to be able to conceive naturally we’d have to have sex about twice a day (which we were already doing )

. He believed I was going to ovulate later yesterday or in the next two days. Well I took an opk when I got home. And the line was there solid just like the control line (wondfos) . I had a feeling that was my sure. Hubby and I went out last night and had some fun. Life happened , thing occurred and we didn’t end up having sex till early this morning .

We plan on keeping our routine through Monday or Tuesday to be safe. But I guess I get backwards. I know you around ovulate 24 hours after your surge on opks. Which I know yesterday was the day because today they have got lighter. My question to you is, did you still get prego not having sex the day of surge but the days before and following ?
