Sex before marriage or after marriage?

For the longest time I was wanting to wait to have sex till I am married but for awhile now I can’t decide if I still want to do that or just have sex when it decides to happen. Ladies who waited until after marriage got any tips about it? Just the pros and cons of waiting? Please and thank you!!

I didn't wait til marriage but I waited until I was ready.
I'm telling you my story because for 17 years of my life I was adamantly waiting til marriage...so I completely understand the situation.
personally, I'm glad I didn't wait, because the sexual connection I've built with my boyfriend has been an integral binding piece of our relationship.
We were both virgins and shared our first times with each other. it was awkward. It hurt. in fact, it took about....hm maybe six tries on different days before his penis was all the way in. so if you do wait until marriage, don't expect anything on the first night. it takes some practice, sometimes if a guy is nervous he will go soft and then...he can't get his penis inside you which makes him more embarrassed...
as far as the pain, yes, it did hurt me. it stung... because a large erect penis is trying to push inside... it's no one's fault it just happened. idk if you'll hurt, but don't be scared by me saying this.
IF YOU HAVE A MAN THAT STOPS IMMEDIATELY WHEN IT HURTS OR YOU WANT HIM TO STOP, THEN YOULL BE JUST FINE.
The pain doesn't last forever. I didn't bleed. He was really gentle with me. REALLY gentle.
pay attention to this next part:
my first time was special because I was literally connecting with the man I love, NOT because of the sex. (We practiced and the sex became better with time).
so, ultimately my advice is when you have a man who loves you just as deeply as you love him, and respects your body and boundaries like you respect his...and you're ready to connect on arguably the most intimate physical/mental/spiritual level possible...when everything fits into place...then youll know its time to have sex.
I wouldnt put a date on it unless it is for religious reasons. Because you cant predict when everything will fit into place. If it is for religious reasons, then I would say good for you, stick to it and everything will be okay.
But no matter what, never go in with a mindset of "this is going to be executed perfectly". Its probably going to be awkward and weird at first, thats okay. My first time was a really huge mess 😂 we failed...but its one of my fondest memories and I hope yours is too.

I waited until marriage and it was one of the best things I had ever done. (In my opinion.) however, it’s totally up to the person. If you want to wait, you have to have some pretty solid reasons for it otherwise you never will. And then you might deal with guilt for not waiting like you planned.

Historically virgin brides + grooms don't have many "pros" to say about waiting until marriage to have sex. Seems like an outdated and religious hang up if you ask me. I seriously don't understand why people continue to put themselves through misery to wait until marriage for sex, sex is like one of the best natural highs in life. HAVE SEX!!

I should be up to you but pros are: you know what you like/dislike before your married (bdsm, normal sex, like doing it in different rooms,etc), your not scared you'll mess up, it's less awkward, it doesn't hurt anymore, if you did it becuase you both love each other you get share this moment together(same if your married), you find out if both of you  share the same kinks or if neither of you can deal with or like those kinks the other is interested in. Cons: if people who believe you should wait to marriage find out they'll usually judge you harshly and shame you, it's more awkward for you or for both of you if your both inexperienced, your already married when you find out either your sexually compatible or not and if you it's something you have just n4atural like  instead of learn and get better at you night end up not having sex at all or not liking your sex life at all like some married couples, if you doing this for religious reasons your staying true to the religious practice.

I decided to wait til marriage intially for morals, but as i went further and further sexually, now it is more to prevent pregnancy. Like i regret everything i have done because my wedding night wont be as special as i had planned. I am still technically a virgin  
(my bf and i have never gone “all the way” but we gave gotten close enough to where we know every piece of each other and sometimes it is best to wait until later on to keep things interesting.)
So if i were you i would wait and stay true to your values. Then there will never be a dull moment and marriage wont just be “moving in with your bf without the shame”
