Magic Marlin Sleep suit???

Question

So my 7 month old still needs one arm swaddled, and he has not been sleeping well, unless in my arms. Anyone have any experience with the magic marlin? I would love to hear your thoughts before I make a $40 investment.

We love the magic Merlin suit. Our daughter transitioned effortlessly from swaddling to the  Merlin. She sleeps 11-12 hours at night and does great at nap time with it. I got a gently used one on eBay for $15.

Love the magic sleep suit! My son’s still using it and he’s just over 7 months. Been told to stop using when he can roll over in it.

We tried it while transferring from swaddle at 4 months and she hated it cause she likes to bring her hands to her mouth and in Merlin she can’t. We bought a Love to Dream 50/50 sleep sack and followed their instructions. She was free of swaddle in 3-4 weeks. Good luck!

My son hated it! Didn’t work at all for me! It was super hot! If you got a hot baby all the time don’t get it! I’m still struggling to get my baby out of love to dream 50/50 hates his arms out. He’s still sleeping in his rock n play because I can’t get his arms out and too scared he will roll at night in the crib! I know I’m
Horrible for still having him in the rock n play! It’s just been so hard to break him of it.

Our daughter LOVE THIS SUIT! AND SO DID WE! she slept on in from 4-6
Months and then we transitioned her out of it when she could roll from back to front and vice versa. It states on their site that your baby should NOT use this suit if he/she can roll. I only bring that up because of your baby’s age. You do you, mama. But it is a heavy suit. Wonderful but not super safe if your little one can roll onto their tummy.
