stomach spasms at 5 weeks?

lately ive been waking up and when i go to sit up my stomach will start twitching or shaking. I'm also 5 weeks pregnant. is this normal? sometimes i also wake up with numb hands too

Sounds like normal uterus growth to me. As long as there’s not prolonged sharp pain you should be fine. The numb hands thing is normal; just try to reposition your arms when it happens. Your body is producing a lot more blood and I know for me, my fingers go numb really easily in random positions (like when I’m laying on my side, or sitting with my arms positioned funny).
