Thank goodness for social media apps

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 5 months now. At the beginning of our relationship we already knew that I was going to leave to work abroad. We didnt think much of it but we fell hard and fast for each other. This is my first serious relationship, and now there are 11000km between us; for the next 5 months at least. I completely trust him and he trusts me. The distance is difficult but we still talk everyday and occasionally skype. Only a 5 hour time difference, so when I'm having lunch, he is waking up. NOW FOR THE DRAMA... as I said this is my first relationship, the first guy I brought home to meet the folks. I dont have a very open relationship with my parents, so they were extremely surprised that I cried when I left my bf behind. Apparently they had no idea how, serious our relationship was. This is all new for my family. We plan to marry in future, but my family dont know anything about the love my life. My bf is so brave: he is willing to visit my folks n 3 brothers on his own to state his intentions for us. I just wish I could be there with him. I hate that I put him in this position, but he is willing to do anything for me.
