Jobs Out side NYC???

Are there any good jobs outside New York? Im thinking of going back to school for Administration Assistant Bachelors degree. Just wondering if this is a good career change for my family and I. Im thinking of changing my career because New York/Brooklyn is getting over crowded and rent is very high even in the worse areas. I want to be able to move anywhere for the better for my family and I.
