Anyone had to switch hospitals this late in the game?

So I’m currently 39w4d. I am trying for a Vbac. My dr has known since day one. But now that we are this late in the game, she scheduled me for an induction then canceled the same day. And now says if I go into labor on my own they will cut me open?! I’m so confused. I’m perfectly healthy and so is bubs. Any advice would be appreciated.

They can’t force you to have a c-section.

You can refuse the c-section until you know for sure a vaginal birth isn’t working out.

Aww I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this. I’ve heard stories like that which is why I switched to very supportive midwives halfway thru my pregnancy. You may want to see if there’s another hospital near by that supports vbacs. I know its scary but may be worth it. I’m 40+6 and going for my vbac now and I think labor just started. I look back on time and know I would’ve been automatic c section by now with my previous provider. I’m so glad I made this decision to switch.
