My daughter is being bullied

I am sorry this is a very long drawn out post!!!!

I am just looking for some advice. My 11 year old daughter has been bullied at her school by the same 2 or 3 girls for the past 5 months. I took her to the doctor because I was so scared for her the other day. She was so angry and so upset that everyone around her at school down plays everything she ever reports to them. She said she hurts inside and doesn't know what to do with her pain and that there is something wrong. I called the doctor got her in. He diagnosed her with depression and anxiety. My daughter is such a loving child and smart and beautiful. She used to think so too but not anymore. They have told lies and rumors about her and have secluded her from just about every one of her friends at school. Here is the thing that happened last week. She was playing a game with her one friend in the locker room and one of the bullies yelled "omg bri, I can't believe you just said that I'm telling the teacher!" Bri looked at her friend and said what did I say? did I say something wrong? her friend said No you didn't. teacher comes in and tells at her to get to the principles office! she went she sat with the principle and the principle told her "We don't tell people that we don't like them and they should just die!" Bri starts crying and says I didn't say that tho. He shook his head and said stop the lying 3 people heard you! Wtf! He then calls in her friend who tells same story as my daughter and he said ok then I'm sorry that is what I was told. Bri doesn't get in trouble and her gym teacher who is also my husband's cousin says I'm sorry but I have to report this stuff.

Bri has dealt with constant bullying more harrassment I guess and I dont know what to do because the school counselor tells us that there is not much they can do with the bullies. My husband and I and the doctor think it's best we transfer schools and it makes me sad we live in a community that is quite small 2400 people and we both grew up and her and graduated here. But i think our hands are tied and we have to get our daughter out of there before things get much worse.
