Postpartum help!!

So I had my daughter a little over 3 months ago in February. I waited my 6 weeks of recover time to have sex, and actually didn't have sex until about 8 weeks to be sure.

Well when I did it, it hurt so bad that I had to stop and waited a week and a half. We tried again, this time my period started the day after. It still hurt this time, but not as bad. So I brushed it off.

We had sex again last night, and I was STILL in pain! I got past it and it ended up hurting less, but this morning I found that I am bleeding again, and I know for sure I'm not on my period this time.

Has anyone went through this before? I'm considering making an appt with my OB here pretty soon, but before I do that I just want to know if this is normal or not.
