Fake friends...?

So I found out that my friends have a group chat without me in it, but we already have a group chat with me in it, but we don’t use it. Should I leave the group chat with me in it?

So they can't have a conversation without you in it?

If no one is using it,  just stay in it and delete it. Then if anyone says something you'll know, but don't have to keep seeing the conversation in the meantime.  Also, try making new friends so that you aren't too reliant on these ones for friendship. Have fun and don't dwell too much on it.

Unless they’re discussing you, I wouldn’t consider them fake. I have different group chats without certain friends. Not because I’m playing two sides, but because there’s certain things I don’t tell some of them. If that makes sense.
