Okay ladies! I need HELP.

My father built our babies crib & changing table out of pine & stained it in a light stain. We have a wooden rocking chair that matches it, (not exact but very very close). We would like to put a dresser and also a small 2 shelf bookshelf in the nursery.

My question is,

For the dresser and bookshelf (we will not be buying brand new) would it be best to find them in a similar pine color, or to find them painted (either with white or a dark navy blue to pop with the light stain of the wood)?

Ps (the growth ruler will also be stained to match the crib and changing table, just have not gotten around to it yet 😂)

^ this is the changing table. The stain is a lighter color and is the exact same as the crib.
