If you threw up during labour for baby #1, did it happen again for baby #2??

Did you throw up again during your second labour/birth?? I am really hoping I don’t have to deal with that again 😫

I personally did not, but my friend threw up with her first and not with her second.

I didn’t throw up with my first, but I’m pretty sure my sister did with all 4 of her babies :S I think it’s just how your body reacts to being in labour. 👎🏼

I threw up with my first. I had already gotten my epidural so I wasn’t feeling the contractions but I suddenly felt sick to my stomach and said to a nurse I thought I was going to throw up...she turned around to get something and it just came up ALL IN MY HAIR. Not the best look. Lol. But the nurse was super nice and said the contractions were mimicking what happens with a stomach virus so my body just reacted. I’ve been wondering if my body will react the same way this time.

my mom is an L&D; nurse and she just told mey yesterday its extremely common. i threw up 3 or 4 times into a bag the nurse was holding while in the pushing stage

I threw up both times, but I actually think it was from the pain as I don't handle contraction pains that well.  Ot wasn't continuous during labor though, just two times each in the beginning.

to be fair I threw up for the first not the second because they ended my labor with a section for#2. fully expect to barf this time

Not with my first, but I asked to be pre medicated wgtgwmtmadp two because of how sick my friend got when she delivered unmedicated. My doctor said yes and I delivered unmedicated without nausea. yay
