So. I’m in college. I’m a bartender and I make REALLY good money. Not going to lie about it. Like.. $20-30+/hour and I work full time. I’ve been able to move out, support myself, save for vacations, etc.

However it’s not what I want to do forever. There’s a job posting for basically a supervisor for supervised visitations (future social worker here).

I want to apply BUT the job makes seriously $11/hour. Which my roommates all think I’m being ridiculous over because its decently over minimum wage.

I just don’t know what to do. Do I apply for the more career oriented job with a huge pay cut, or do I stay doing what I’m doing?
