partner dosen't want kids now..?

Question

my man just said he doesn't want kids after I had lost our baby.. I dont know if he blames me or if hes just depressed it's not like we're trying but.. its something that means a lot to me I've always wanted kids.. I'm already heartbroken I feel like I could've done more should have done something to save my baby I already blame my self but I cant tell him I dont know how.. we've been together 2 years we've said so many times how we wanna have a family.. i dont know what to do..

Just remember men have a different way of dealing with things. This is probably just his way at the moment, he’s probably just frightened that it will happen again. Just give it time, I’m sure he will come around. Especially if he wanted a family so much. 
Also, never blame yourself! I did that for so long and still do. Then I stop and question the situation, ‘Did I want this?’ ‘Why could I have done to prevent this?’ ‘Would have I been able to prevent it?’ I’m sure your answers are all ‘no’ to this. Don’t be so harsh on yourself! 🙂

It is not your fault. We have to remember that although we go through the physical aspect..they suffer through it too. Give him time to grieve and come to terms with it. He needs to heal too. My husband and I have talked about our losses and although he isnt the type to express his feelings.. he did open up about how our losses have hurt him. Every once in awhile he will make comments about our 2 angels and it reminds me that I am not the only one broken by our losses... he just deals with it differently than I do. At this point, he no longer wants to try again. Considering we lost our 2nd angel on his 31st bday.. I dont blame him. We just need to give them time to heal. Give him time and then have that conversation with him. Good luck.

after 3 losses my hubby did the same . he was scared and hurt too. but didnt show it like us women do. try and be there to support him. it's not easy on men either. I know you feel hurt. I did and was so mad at my husband we fought bad after he said that cause I didnt understand at all. in the end I figured out he was scared. it took him a bit to sort through his feelings... and when he did he was 100000% on board again

Hi sweetie after my first lost my husband was the same I think seeing me in pain and hurting scared him. We ended up with having a little girl after she six now... when he first found out he was angry but now she is his everything. Give him some time don’t push the the subject.
