Got the okay to have my baby 😬😭😍

I have been in preterm labor since I was 29 weeks. I’ve taken two daily medications and one as needed medication since then. Lost my mucus plug yesterday and had some serious contractions this morning before my OB appointment.

Went in and explained what was going on, after discussing my previous labor and birth experience (37+2 weeks, spontaneous water break, 6.5 hour labor) my OB informed me that as soon as I start dilating I am getting sent in to have my baby! It feels so real now! He said I’m much more effaced than the last time they checked me and baby’s head is very low and putting pressure on me. He told me I’m clear to stop taking the medication and if I contract for one hour to head to OB an hour away. I will also be getting checked every 3-4 days now for dilation.

Also, if i make it to 37 weeks (8 days away) and dilate, he’s going to go ahead and induce labor because he’s afraid when I go into labor on my own it’ll be too quick for me to get to the hospital.

Very excited and nervous! But also so excited to meet my little man the Lord willing 😍
