What kind of juice are you giving LO

Question

I heard like Juicy juice is good. Some lady at the park was giving her baby Naked juice. I’ve seen Gerber has a brand of juice. I drink a lot of Snapple. Can I give that? What have you’ve been giving to LO.

We just give water or formula. There’s really no need for juice yet bc of all the sugar, but if we did want to add flavor we’d just put pieces of fruit in their water.

I try not to give a lot of juice but if I do I just make sure to mix it with water. My son likes fruit infused water.

I don’t do juice, my brother had his front teeth fall out before he was even 1 due to drinking too much apple juice. They rotted his teeth away! so that’s etched in my brain lol.  W e just do water and very little if any. Other than his formula of course...eventually when he does get juice (probably over 1) it will be watered down.

My sister said she never gave her girls any juice and recommended I don’t give my son juice because it’s sugary. But she said if I do it’s better to water it down so that’s what I do. And I only give him apple juice mixed with water once in a blue moon to help when he’s constipated. I can’t remember the name but the kind I got has Sesame Street characters on it and it says no added sugar.

We usually only give water, but I love drinking a mixture of water with a splash of cranberry/raspberry juice (Kirkland brand) so sometimes I’ll give my son a sip from my cup. Juice generally has a lot of sugar so it’s not good for their teeth, but it’s slightly better if it’s watered down. My first job was at a preschool and we used to always give the kids watered down juice (apple, cranberry, grape, etc) so you could try that. Naked juice is good because they don’t add extra sugar, unlike most store bought juices, but it still contains a ton of natural sugar because they use apples and other super sugary fruits to sweeten them, so I wouldn’t give that too often.

I only give juice when my son is constipated and then I do half water and half prune juice or Apple juice.
