Failure

Well yesterday I had a day where I felt like a complete failure as a mother. It started off with me finding out I’ve been mixing my formula with the wrong kind of water for over a month. I have been using bottled spring water jugs from Walmart. The nurse told me I should even be boiling that I did not know. Then I boiled my tapwater only to find out it’s really hard water and it was full of calcium deposit. I tried washing my pot I tried using a kettle nothing worked. My mom is on a different water system and brought me a five-year galleon jug From her house. The water came out a bit more clear after being boiled so I used that. I like to pre-mix my formula in the juice jug and keep it in the fridge. I wasn’t sure I added the right amount of scoops so I had to throw out the jug and start over. When I made the next batch I wasn’t sure I waited long enough for it to be cooled and was wondering if I had to throw that batch as well. To top it off my little girl had her first needles today and the nurse told me I shouldn’t be mixing in a juice jug I should be mixing in a sterile container… Feeling like I’m doing everything wrong…
