My baby girl finally arrived!!
On Friday May 18 I woke up to cramping, nothing intense. By noon my bloody show started to come out in big chunks and that's when the cramps began to to get more intense and painful. I tried to bare with them for as long as I could but by 3am Saturday morning we decided to head to the hospital but got sent back because I was only opened to 2 and the contractions weren't close enough. When we got home I spent probably more time in a hot shower/bath because that was the only thing that helped a little. Around 10am we decided to head back to the hospital because I couldn't take the pain anymore and was finally at a 3 1/2 almost 4 so we stayed (yay!!!!) I was able to get an epidural soon after but that only helped so much. I was still feeling the contractions and having back labor so I got other doses of pain meds added to the epidural. The rest of the day was spent hoping to have my baby girl that night or maybe early Sunday morning. The Doctor even broke my water to help speed things up. But then by Sunday around 7am the doctor came in to check up on me and turned out I was stuck at 5 and wasn't opening up anymore plus baby girl was still way too high and the contractions started to become less strong so it was decided a C section had to be done. I was so scared I began to cry and felt so bad for myself thatch couldn't push her out like I was hoping. Never of having a surgery before also added to that fear. But at 7:51am my beautiful Illiana was born. 8lbs 14.9oz 20in I am in pain of the c section now but I love my little girl so much I can't think of anything better!!!!
