Underweight??

My LO just turned 7 months and is only 16 pounds is that underweight??? She's long at 27.3 inches though

Smaller than average and underweight are two entirely different things. 16 lbs at 8 months may be smaller than the average baby, according to the growth chart, but the only reason for concern would be if they’ve dropped off their particular growth curve considerably... if they were at 90th percentile at birth and now are at 30th, that may be cause for concern... but if they’ve always been between 20th and 40th and continue to be so, that’s still a normal growth curve...Growth and weight gain generally slows in the second 6 months of life, when compared to the first 6 months... as long as your doctor is not concerned though, you shouldn’t be either.

My 7 month is the same weight and height.

Not underweight as long as he was gaining weight consistently. If he stopped gaining weight at any point then maybe there might be an issue there. But my 7 month old is 16 lbs and shes fine.

everyone is different in growing she probably had her growth spurt with her height first  then in a few weeks she'll get her weight growth spurt  to fill in. as long as she doesn't drop  weight is always a good  sign
