Metformin!!??

Has anyone tried Metformin this and does it work ?

I have been on metformin 500mg 3x daily for about a year for PCOS only and hasn't done anything, no weight loss, but no weight gained, has brought my periods to an average of 52days, but still not pregnant. TTC for 4 years. just recently bought an OvaCue and I'm apparently entering fertile stage, (home OPKs didnt work for me, I think I was ovulating later than normally)
