Harris Dean was born exactly one week late (just like his older brother) on May 23rd, weighing 9lbs 8oz, and 21.5in. He’s a little blondie! Looks almost exactly like his big brother did when he was born!

Labor was short. Started pitocin around 7:30am at 4cm and by 11:15am I was ready to push. 5 rounds of pushing and he was out! No need for any assistance (had a vacuum with my first) and was able to push him out without any trouble. This birth was worlds different than with my first and I’m grateful for the experience to show that every birth is different and doesn’t have to be scary or traumatic.

Now if these stitches would heal quickly and this giant hemorrhoid would go away, we’d be golden!
