Does iui hurt?

I had a saline ultrasound done and it hurt me very badly. When I had all other test I was asleep (they did a few procedures at once while I was under) so I didn’t feel anything but man, getting the catheter in and balloon hurt so bad! Is that what iui feels like?

It hurts less than that. :) you can ask for Tylenol if it hurts too much  After my second iui, I had to immediately go back to work, so I took some to ease the cramping.

I just had my first IUIs done on Thursday and Friday. They didn’t hurt at all and I didn’t feel anything. Some say you get cramping but I didn’t get any. Maybe I was just super relaxed? 🤷🏻‍♀️ the dr kept asking me if I was ok but I didn’t feel a thing.

I was expecting to hurt but I literally didn’t feel anything. It was done in less than one minute. Regular paps are more uncomfortable than the IUI.

I was expecting it to be more painful. It felt a lot like a Pap smear, my doctor advised it would feel a little worse, but I was surprised. I think being really comfortable with her helped so much. I didn’t tense or tighten and was relaxed. It was over quickly. 
Well worth being uncomfortable, if I get my BFP 🤞🏼❤️
