Is sex on peak day the best way to get pregnant?

I’m confused! 
Is it best to have sex BEFORE peak day, ON peak day, or AFTER peak day?

Sperm can last for 5 days so before and on peak is best as the egg will only last 12-24 hours.

And the whole “sperm can last in the body for 5 days” isn’t common, it’s normally 2-3 days in the PERFECT conditions, which 90% of the time, it’s not an ideal environment. That’s why doctors encourage either the day before or the day after because the egg is either about to appear or it’s already out and waiting, so the moment the sperm is released, it’s alive, healthy and ready to go.
