So I’ve been accepted into a program at my school, which requires me to drive an hour there and back four days a week. Last semester, i only had to go to campus one day a week, plus working in town, and was spending $45 a week in gas. So I’m sure I’ll have to fill up at least twice a week now. I was thinking about getting a car that’s better on gas, but then that requires a loan, plus more expensive insurance. I’m not sure what would be the smarter thing to do... keep my car that’s bad on gas, or get a car that’s good on gas but have the loan/higher insurance??
