Best/safest carseat for small cars? Help!!

I love my car and really do not want to trade it for an suv. However, I cannot find a car seat that fits well in the back... please help! Lol

Diono radian is quite narrow and super safe as it does rear-facing for a lot longer than many other carseats. Also it's the only carseat you'll need to buy as it eventually turns into a booster seat.

You’ll want something compact front to back not necessarily slim. Dionos are a mess so I wouldn’t recommend it honestly. Also Dionos don’t fit newborns. 
For an infant seat Cybex, Chicco Keyfit, or Graco snugrides are extremely compact front to back. 
For convertible (Rear facing to Forward facing seat) the Graco Extend2Fit, Nuna Rava, Cosco Scenera Next are extremely compact front to back. 
Also, all seats pass the same testing. There is no “safety data” that’s released to the public about testing. All the “safety info” you may see is either 3rd party or in- house testing and all paid for. Plus there’s no other seat data to compare it to so that’s like saying apples are better than oranges! Rest assured- all seats on the market are safe when used and installed properly 100% of the time! ❤️

I have a Kia Forte and the Britax b safe 35 fits but only in the middle seat

I had a Chevy Cruze and the Chicco nextfit fit pretty well, definitely better than the infant bucket seats! I haven’t tried it but I bet the Maxi Cosi with Tiny Fit would be a good choice too.. it has an insert that adjusts the angle within the car seat so baby is reclined more with the car seat taking up less space.
