So I’m 16 (turning 17 next month) and both of my parents said I could get an L tattoo in honor of my dogs, Lizzy who passed away a year ago and Lorenzo who means the absolute world to me and we recently had a pretty bad scare with him ingesting tylenol but hes okay now. I wanted to get it on my forearm because it’s got a floral design that goes with it so I feel like that’s the best place to get it and i honestly don’t really want it anywhere else. My dad, who has lots of tattoos all over his arms, says I can’t get it there because he’s obsessed with me getting a job but my mom, who only has two tattoos, says she’s completely fine with it. Now I don’t live with my dad because my parents are divorced and all around my mom is just a better person to live with. My mom has the biggest say in this because she’s helping me pay for it and well, she’s my mom, but my dad will more than likely be the one to take me to get the tattoo. I’m scared that he’ll either manipulate my mom into thinking it’s a bad idea or make it into some big deal it’s not or he just won’t sign all together. Do you guys think I’m making a mistake with the placement or is it fine??
