Breast milk-bottle served hot or cold ?

Today it was about 92 out and I’m curious in do you have to warm up a bottle of breast milk? I didn’t know if it being that hot out and giving her a warm bottle of milk would upset her stomach. So is it fine to give her a chilled bottle of breast milk from the fridge ?

warming it up will help it mix better so it's not all separated, your baby will probably thank you for it

I’ve always warmed my breast milk no matter the weather or temperature. It separates and congeals when it’s cold. Plus cold drinks don’t actually cool you down on hot days.

If they will drink it that way, that’s fine. But the majority of babies dislike it chilled.

I always left mine room temp if he was going to eat it within 6 hours. If it got warmer from the weather that is fine as long as it was within that 6 hour window. The used to say it gave babies less gas when warm 🤷🏼‍♀️. But if your baby will take it chilled and it doesn’t give them gas then go for it!

If it were coming from the breast it would be body temperature and no it doesn't upset their tummy so warming it is fine and probably what LO will want

I kinda swirl it around a little before giving her to it to mix it. She doesn’t mind it chilled. I just wasn’t sure On really hot days about giving her warm milk.
