Baby Rabies Rant

Hi all, i haven’t really seen posts about this so i thought i’d share my story and see what the thoughts are. So my sister and my neighbour have severe baby rabies and are making me feel super uncomfortable.

I know they are only coming from a good place but i can’t explain how awkward and just annoyed it makes me feel. Example- my sister has an 18 month old and she didn’t have the best pregnancy so she keeps sharing really messed up stories with me and what i should be worried about etc. She also sent me a link to all these women giving birth with half a baby being pulled out of a vagina, i am 5 weeks pregnant and do not need to see that right now.

And don’t get me started on my neighbour, i love her and get along with her really well but she has no boundaries for anyone. She wants it all her way. I went into her house the other day and she said ‘so i’ve already called about the day care for the baby and i can take it and drop it off and check in on it at lunch time’ when her work is completely out the way of my work or my husbands. I just was gob smacked that she even said that to me??

Someone tell me i’m not over reacting because my husband thinks i am, he says they are only trying to be nice and we will want support. I agree we will want support but i also do not need this bossy baby rabies stuff at all.

HELP please! what should i do?

Ps baby rabies is what is described as being crazy as hell when you know someone pregnant. It’s people who seem to have rabies and loose their mind over you being pregnant and therefore do crazy stuff like above.
