Has anyone felt dizzy or like they were going to faint during the first trimester? Is this just a new side effect of morning sickness?

Answer

It’s normal to feel dizzy when you are changing positions (going from sitting to standing, for example) but dizziness while being still/not changing positions suddenly is sometimes indicative of anemia. If you’re feeling like you are going to faint, call you doctor and ask to have your iron levels checked. Anemia is suuuuper common in pregnancy because our bodies are pumping a lot more blood.

yes usually normal do to all the extra blood flow. relax, drink plenty of water, and make sure you get up slow.
