Hello ladies!

I’m currently on my first period post-Mirena and let me tell you, it’s a doozy! I’ve been reading some horror stories on the internet about how the first few can be quite awful and heavy, so I know this is normal. My period never stopped while I had it in and I even ovulated so I think I expected the transition to be a bit easier, but I was so, so wrong.

Does anybody know how long the adjustment period usually lasts? Two cycles? Three? Dare I ask, even more?? And does anyone have any advice to keep me from freaking out?
