I got my first tattoo on my wrist, it felt like I was being scratched. it's also the least painful place for your first time.

Decide based on looks. The pain lasts maybe an hour but the tattoo will be wherever you put it forever. 
Both those spots will be about the same pain level and I think a lot of the tattoo pain depends on your personal tolerance more than anything else. Bring some Gatorade and a friend to distract you and you’ll be fine. It’s not as bad as you think it’ll be.

Ehh. Everyone tolerated pain in different areas in a different way. Both of those sound like horrible areas. Maybe try getting one on your wrist or something first? My collarbone didn’t hurt at all, but my ankle was painful and the shading made me feel like I was dying, but I’ve got a low pain tolerance🤷🏻‍♀️

Depending on how much body fat you have the hip I think would be less. But a tiny tattoo like that will be fine! It’s all kind over matter ! 🤷🏼‍♀️

it really just depends on the size of the needle. I just got a hip tattoo that hurt like hell because it was done with a single needle. I have other tattoos that didn't hurt as bad because there were more needles. strange, I know. either way, it's going on top of bone so it's going to hurt like hell and bruise like hell.

I got my first tattoo in my foot, which is a painful place. But it’s so small I knew no matter how bad it hurt it only look like 5 minutes and I’d say I have an OK pain tolerance. Those both seem like painful places, but if you’re saying your tattoo will be so tiny no matter how bad it’s gonna hurt you, it’ll be over in like no time

Anywhere near more boney areas will hurt more. But I feel like it'd be more suitable on your underboob.. I also feel like upper inner arm or even collar bone would be a nice area for it.

It makes more sense in the rib area but this process isn’t ever going to be totally pain free.
