Hey ladies!

I have been seriously thinking about proposing to my SO. He always teases me about the only way it’s gonna happen is if I do it to him (again teasing). I can never tell what he’s thinking or anything about the subject of marriage. We’ve been through so much together and I really do love him, soooo?

My plan? WELL. He’s always wanted to go to Japan, and I just do happen to be really great friends with this girl at my work who lived in Japan for 3 months, minored in the culture, and can speak Japanese very well.... and has agreed to help me set up the entire thing and come with us, given finances permit.

Do I give him a ring? Even though that’s the only ring he’ll ever get? He loves sandblasted rings and has already told me that he wants one as his wedding band. And guys normally don’t have multiple bands. He’s not into the stones or anything, so something simple... I’m so confused! Does anybody have any advise about how they did it or what they did?
