HELP! Missed period but this happens sometimes? 😕

Hey everyone so , I missed my period this current cycle, it's only a day after but im confused because this happens every once in a while. About a year ago I would start to muss my period approximately every 3 months .still had symptoms besides cramping, just no actual bleeding. I've tried things like putting my legs up after sex (not sure id ut works but worth a shot) this past month so im not sure if i should take a test or just assume its the usual missed peeiod i get . Scared to have a negative test result😔
