I am allergic to the adhesive on medical tape and bandaids. I can wear it for a couple of hours if I absolutely need to but if I wear it longer than that I end up with a horrible rash. I know at the very least I’ll have to have an IV during labor that will be taped down for well over a couple of hours. Does anyone else have this that knows if they have other ways to hold down an IV or will I just have to deal with the rash on top of labor? I plan on discussing it with my doctor at my next appointment I just wondered if anyone had experience with this.
